OBJECTIVE: Learn how to create a persuasive document so you can create a podcast to sell your product

AGENDA

1) ASSIGN YOURSELF: Persuasion is all around you. You have to watch either a tv commercial, read the paper or look at ads in a magazine, persuasion is all around you.

Bring a persuasive piece to share in class tomorrow. It can be newspaper, a letter to the editor, a movie or book review, a commercial or advertisement in a magazine or newspaper. Once you have found two different pieces answer the questions in the handout.

2) DO NOW: Review for Exam

3) I will demonstrate to you the different methods to used to create a persuasive argument for people to buy your products. (Show powerpoint) -10 min

4) Create a persuasive map to help you create your podcast.

5) Print 2 copies of your persuasive map, one for you, one for me.

6) If time allows begin recording yourself.
